...So a year and a half ago a member of my church asked me to take a photo of her and her husband. I did and gave it to them for no cost, with the agreement I could use it in my portfolio.

The photos turned out great (if I do say so myself) and really show my skills, as well as showing the beauty of the prayer garden of my church.

A few months ago she left him due to abusive circumstances.

Next quarter is my last quarter at the Art Institute, and therefor I have to make a final portfolio. Anyone who knows the couple would see the photograph as just a reminder of what happened. Even I can't help but see the ugliness hidden in the photo.

Do I include it or not? I can't reproduce it since it was an autumn photo when the tree in the prayer garden had just finished turning, yet the leaves were thick both on the tree and on the ground.
